From 31 July to 7 August 2009, SWR4 and EnBW Energie Baden Würtemberg organised a bicycle tour across the country. DMS provided the bicycle storage vehicles. More than 2000 people participated in the 9-day, 600 kilometers long tour. Transportation of the bicycles between the stages was carried out by our branch in Karlsruhe.

Flood prevention on the Rhine River
The city of Leverkusen has acquired a complex flood prevention system and DMS provides the logistics when it is needed. The milelong wall consists of thousands of girders and has to be in place within 10 hours after the alert. Seven 40-ton vehicles haul the critical freight directly to the sites at risk.

Safety first.
The systematic processing of 25,000 files is the basis for a successful subsequent relocation. Sensitive archival material is transported in dust-free and concealed containments. DMS took over all the packing and reassembling of the shelves.
Conservation and transportation
DMS carried out the relocation of the Berlin Museum of Natural History, transporting more than 500,000 exhibits and mounted specimens with extreme care and know-how.
The art of transportation.
The works of the highly acclaimed German painter and sculptor, Marius Lüpertz, were, literally, a "great" challenge. But DMS would not be DMS if they didn´t deliver each work of art right on time.
